AUDITION FOR LPHS CHOIRS

PLEASE READ FIRST!

Hello!

First off, thank you to everyone who has participated in the LPHS Choir Program. And to those who are new—welcome, and thank you for your interest!

Everyone who auditioned or participated in a choir this year will find their name on one of the ensemble lists, either here or on instagram.
If you don’t see your name, please reach out—I’ll fix that right away!
 

A quick reminder:
Your placement is not a critique of your ability or worth. Creating these groups is like solving a giant, sometimes stressful, always exciting puzzle. And that puzzle isn’t complete without you. Yes, you!
 

Now, a few logistics:
On Monday, I’ll be submitting these class lists to the registrar to help with Arena Scheduling. This doesn’t lock you into anything—you’ll still need to confirm your final schedule.

Please note: once Arena Scheduling closes, A Cappella will become a locked audition-only class. No schedule changes into that class will be allowed without a new audition.
 

Both A Cappella and Advanced Choirs may be dropped at any time after they appear on your schedule. However, if you choose to drop and then return later, A Cappella is the only group you can reaudition for. (Advanced Men’s and Advanced Women’s are open enrollment.)
 

Occasionally, spots open up in Chamber Choir. Those will be filled from students currently enrolled in A Cappella.
